Marlene Bogard, executive director of Mennonite Women USA, has announced her retirement, effective July 31.
“I have loved connecting with women across the U.S. and promoting our vision of empowering and resourcing women,” Bogard said. “The release of the book Circles of Sisterhood, providing Sister Care for College Women at all Mennonite Church USA college campuses and celebrating 100 years of Mennonite Women ministries are highlights of my time in leadership.”
Kathy Bilderback, chair of the board of Mennonite Women USA said, “We are very grateful for Marlene’s clear leadership and the gifts she brought for our organization. Her enthusiasm and dedication to the role of executive director and our organization have been a real asset. She provided the energy and coordination for a wonderful centennial celebration in 2017. We are sad to see her go but wish her all the best in her retirement and next stage of her life.”
Mennonite Women USA will be seeking a new executive director.
